28mm to 25mm Adapter

$5.00

One thing I've found out from my trip to Italy in 2024 plus a couple of messages from customers on the Camino de Santiago is that there isn’t a lot of Smartwater in Europe! The packaged drinks market there evolved differently from the way it works in the US - you’ll find a lot more water there sold in thinner flimsier bottles with less robust caps that aren’t made to hold pressurized soda, and they won’t fit my 28mm Smartwater adapter!

In January 2025 I met this need with a 3D-printed adapter that allows you to use these bottles with the One Bottle 28mm adapter*. It’s always good to have options in case you need another bottle - when you're in a foreign land it’ll be harder to shop around for the right one!

People in North America will find that adapter helpful also! Companies like Deer Park and Poland Spring sell water in those 25mm bottles - they’re less durable than soda or Smartwater bottles, but they are a little lighter and sometimes they’re the only thing available!
